Tips For Darker Mehndi
For a dark and rich color, it is advised to let the mehndi dry up for at least for 4 hours. So as to keep it sticked up to the skin even after drying, apply a mixture of sugar and lemon juice with a cotton over the mehndi from time to time. Once the mehndi is kept for considerable time remove it either by scrubbing the hands or with a cutlery knife. Avoid washing hands with water for next 24 hours.
